Brief Description

Tetrapeptide based on the natural epithalamin produced by the pineal gland. Epithalon is the most studied peptide activator of telomerase — the enzyme that maintains telomere length at chromosome ends. In cell culture, it reactivates telomerase in somatic cells and extends replicative lifespan of human fibroblasts beyond the Hayflick limit. Research areas include telomere biology, pineal gland function and melatonin regulation, circadian rhythm modulation, and replicative senescence. For research use only — not for human consumption.
