Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about COAs, testing, shipping, ordering, payment, cart rewards, storage, and research-use-only policies.

How much is shipping?

FREE shipping on every order. No minimum, no exceptions. Chameleon fulfills orders 6 days per week, except Sunday.

Are your peptides tested?

Documented batches are verified through independent third-party testing. BatchTrace: scan vial QR, match the batch code, then verify the report. COAs are available on each product page and in our COA & Batch Verification Ledger.

How long does shipping take?

Orders placed before 2:00 PM Pacific usually ship the same day. Most non-PO-box orders now ship by FedEx 2Day; PO Boxes ship by USPS Priority Mail. Tracking is emailed once the order ships. Carrier delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees.

What payment methods do you accept?

Current checkout options include credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and ACH/eCheck bank transfer through Plaid-powered bank checkout. Available payment methods may vary by order and compliance requirements. If checkout gives you trouble, contact Stuart at [email protected] or (916) 450-9387.

How do free cart bonuses work?

Cart rewards unlock by subtotal: $100 qualifies for one free 10 mL research fluid, $250 for one eligible peptide under $75, $375 for an additional research fluid, and $500 for one premium eligible peptide under $120. Choose unlocked rewards from the cart/free-extras panel. Manually adding a product page to cart does not make it free.

Is packaging discreet?

Yes. All orders ship in plain, unmarked packaging for product protection and privacy, with no product names or descriptions on the exterior. There is a small chameleon sticker because we could not help ourselves, but it does not reference any contents.

What is your refund policy?

If you feel you need a refund, replacement, reship, credit, or another resolution for any reason, contact Stuart directly with your order number and best contact info. Stuart reviews resolution requests personally and will help figure out the right next step. Contact [email protected] or (916) 450-9387.

Where do you ship?

We ship to all 50 US states. International shipping is not available at this time.

How do I contact support?

Email [email protected], contact Stuart at [email protected], text/call (916) 450-9387, or use the chat widget on our site. For order-specific issues, include your order number so we can look it up quickly.

Can I track my order?

Yes. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships. You can also track directly on the carrier’s website.

Quality & Sourcing

How we source, test, and maintain the standards behind every vial

What are research peptides?

Short chains of amino acids used in laboratory and preclinical research. They are tools for studying biological processes, from tissue biology to metabolic pathways to cellular signaling. Every peptide we sell is for research use only.

How do I verify purity?

Documented batches are independently tested by Janoshik Analytical or another qualified third-party lab where reports are posted. We publish batch-specific COA rows with the scopes ordered for that batch, such as HPLC purity, mass spectrometry identity, amount, endotoxin, heavy metals, or sterility. BatchTrace: scan vial QR, match batch code, then verify the report through our COA & Batch Verification Ledger and linked lab records.

How should peptides be stored?

Lyophilized research materials should be handled according to qualified laboratory SOPs, institutional requirements, and batch-specific documentation. Protect materials from light, moisture, contamination, and repeated temperature cycling as appropriate for the research protocol.

Where are your peptides sourced?

We work with ISO 9001 certified manufacturers. Synthesis often happens overseas because that is how much of the research peptide supply chain works. The difference is verification: we use independent testing and batch documentation so researchers can check what is posted for a specific lot.

How do you maintain batch consistency?

We review incoming batches separately, maintain batch documentation, and add packaging or supplier-cycle notes when they matter. If a supplier’s quality dips, we switch. Our catalog is curated, not comprehensive; we would rather sell verified products than products we cannot vouch for.

Research & Science

Compound information and analytical methods for educational purposes only

What is GLP-1S?
GLP-1S is a GLP-1 receptor agonist reference material used in laboratory research on receptor signaling and metabolic pathways. CAS: 910463-68-2.
What is GLP-1T?
GLP-1T is a dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist reference material used in laboratory research on incretin-related pathways. CAS: 2023788-19-2.
What is GLP-3R?
GLP-3R is a triple agonist research compound targeting GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon receptor pathways in laboratory research settings. CAS: 2381089-83-2.
What is BPC-157?
BPC-157 is a synthetic 15-amino-acid pentadecapeptide reference material with CAS number 137525-51-0. It is listed strictly for in vitro laboratory research and analytical verification.
What is HPLC purity testing?
HPLC, or High-Performance Liquid Chromatography, is an analytical technique that separates, identifies, and quantifies components in a mixture. For peptides, it measures purity by detecting the target compound versus impurities or degradation products.
What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?
A COA is a lab report documenting the specific tests performed on a specific batch. Identity, purity, amount, endotoxin, heavy metals, and sterility are separate scopes. A report proves only what is listed on that report; sterility is not tested unless a sterility report is present.
What is mass spectrometry?
Mass spectrometry measures the mass-to-charge ratio of ions to identify compounds. For peptides, it confirms that the molecular weight matches the expected value. This is separate from purity testing; it verifies identity rather than concentration.
What does “Research Use Only” mean?
Research Use Only (RUO) means the product is intended exclusively for laboratory research, scientific investigation, and educational purposes. RUO products have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety or efficacy in humans. They are not drugs, supplements, or food products, and are not intended for human or animal consumption.
